Our team developed a set of promotional videos for the program e-Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to enhance its outreach and engagement.
In Ukraine, the e-prescription system was launched in April 2019 as part of the “Affordable Medicines” reimbursement program. This program allows patients with cardiovascular diseases, bronchial asthma, or type II diabetes to obtain medications free of charge or with a minimal co-payment through an electronic prescription.
As of October 1, 2021, the “Affordable Medicines” program was expanded to include medications for treating mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, epilepsy, depression, PTSD, affective, and neurotic disorders. It also became possible to obtain electronic prescriptions for insulin preparations.
Under the reimbursement program, patients can receive medications free of charge or with partial payment at any pharmacy that has an agreement with the National Health Service of Ukraine.
The Electronic Health System (EHS) is a large, two-component system that contains medical data previously stored in patients’ paper records and doctors’ documents.
The EHS integrates over 35 million patients, hundreds of thousands of medical professionals, hundreds of services, and dozens of medical information system operators that provide services for doctors and patients.
